Description: Korthail, a tumultuous and resource-rich country in Zyricus, is bordered to the north by Ithalus, to the west by the Neldora Coast, and to the east by Western Daddock, Tackus, and the Ivory Realm. It is a land of stark contrasts, with its abundant natural resources often squandered due to constant warfare and pillaging. Without a central government, Korthail is divided among several powerful tribes of orcs, gnolls, hobgoblins, goblins, and kobolds, each vying for dominance and survival in this chaotic region.
Gutgrubb the Rancid, a fat and brutal goblin tribal chief, is another notorious figure in Korthail. Gutgrubb's primary concerns are self-preservation, wealth, and power. Often a pawn to the more powerful orc and hobgoblin tribes, Gutgrubb is distrustful and harbors deep hatred for all but his fellow goblins. Despite this, he maintains tenuous relationships with other tribal leaders when it suits his interests, ensuring his tribe's survival in the chaotic environment.
